Reviews

  1. I like that it does everything a normal crane does. I found some bits tricky to put together and needed my mums help to do some bits. I like the design and it looks very technical.

  2. This is the latest in a long series of mobile cranes from the Lego Group. Not as complex (or expensive) as earlier ones, and not motorised. As it is fairly small and compact I don't think you could add Power Functions motors to this. The build is good and straightforward (hence good for beginners) and produces a pleasing model which has good play potential. Lost a star on value as it is expensive, especially if you pay full price for the model. For expert Technic builders it has an added attraction in that it contains a number of rare parts. Recommended at the discounted price.
  3. The piston didn't work for LEGO 42108. This mean it didn't function at all. Lots of tears to manage from our twin boys who are avid lego makers and to top it all on top of the huge stress created by the coronavirus lockdown. almost 3 weeks later now and we are still waiting for a refund! unable to reach any one by phone at lego after several attempts. Time in my life that I can never get back. Clearly, lego has got too big too quickly to care about customer service. very disappointed to put it mildly. Still no refund 3 weeks after returning item!!!
