I am 27 years old, I got this yesterday and haven't stopped building it. In fact my Husband didn't see me all night, Even though i said id come and sit down in a minute 40 mins later im still building! The details are incredible and it's quite sturdy so far. I was concerned that my Kitten would get her paw and fling the whole set on the floor but never less she hasn't. Well it keeps me quiet and gives my Husband peace from me been a pain ! But overall id give this a 5* and i can't wait to get the other harry potter sets.
I bought this as a present for my son at christmas and he was delighted when he ripped of the wrapping paper and saw the set inside! He started building it right away and he finished it the next day, it looked brilliant. but as buyers would know, there are two different structures. the clock tower and the dancing area with dumbledore's room and they can connect together via 2 pieces. and my son came into the room in tears saying that the dancing area had disconnected and fallen all over the floor! this was very upsetting for him.
Lovely set for kids and adults alike. I had a great time building it and my son was ‘playing’ with all the features and characters, although they’ll be put back in place again so I can display it with my collection later!
Given the detail with the rotating handle for the clock it’s a real shame they didn’t do a similar feature for the twirling dance floor, but that’s the only real flaw we can find with it.
