  1. Like most people here, I bought this because I had such fond memories as a child and wanted my kids to have a simple game based on observation and not just dice throwing. I've only played a few games, but so far the actual mechanism seems fine (a few flaps stick, but you can just jiggle the clip back, and the cards all fit fine). It is an ABSOLUTE rip off though to charge nearly £20 for it, when it's just a few cards and cheap bits of plastic.

But the issue is with the characters. I think it's great that the people are now more ethnically mixed than the old version, but other than that, they are now pretty indistinct, so it's hard to come up with questions (which surely is the whole point of the game!!). They are tiny, so things like eye colour are impossible to ask, and those that have glasses are often very fine rimmed, so that we've had a few errors where someone asked ''does your character wear glasses?" and the answer's been wrongly 'no' because they couldn't actually see the glasses! For me there are too few older people, and just too many millenial looking young men and women with nondescript spiky hair or ponytails. I just googled the old characters, and I think a game like this needs exaggerated features like that, rather than trying to be more naturalistic.
  2. Absolute cheap and nasty rubbish.... I ordered this because it carries the 'Hasbro Games' badge, but I have my doubts it's genuine. The production is of a cheap quality, which means that the face badges won't stand up properly because the 'clip in' mechanism is so badly designed, and the badges keep twisting. This means they won't flip up or down without jamming, which is extremely frustrating as a main feature of the game. Also, the face card holder for your own selected card has been designed poorly, meaning when you place your selected card in the holder, it keeps falling forward. I am absolutely fuming because Hasbro are meant to produce quality products. I'm making a complain about this purchase, querying the validity of the manufacturer.
